How to order

 

Choosing an item:
Use the categories and links to manoeuvre around the website until you find the item you are looking to purchase. If there is a "quantity" field (a field is a box where you can type) next to the item, be sure to type in how many of it you would like. Then click the "add selected to cart" button to add this item to your shopping cart. If there is a "buy now" button you can click on that to add 1 piece to the shopping cart.

Choosing Size, Color, Style, etc.:
Sometimes items, like clothing, have choices to specify the exact item you want. Examples of this are sizes, colours, and styles. There may be others, depending on the type of item you are ordering. Before you click "add to cart", select which specifications you desire using the option switches for each choice.

Changing your quantities:
Once you have chosen your item(s), you are at the shopping cart page. You will see all the items you have chosen and the running total charge. If you decide you want a different quantity of an item that is already listed here, you can edit the number by clicking in the field and replacing the current quantity with your desired amount. You must click the "update quantity" button to the right of the field for the changes to become active. If you want to delete items, you can click on the "trash-bin" button to the very right of the item.

Estimate your shipping cost:
If you are browsing our shop as a guest, you will have the ability to estimate your shipping cost by choosing your country and state/province. To update the shipping cost, you must click on the "update" button. If you are logged in as a customer, your shipping cost will be defined by the country and state/province you used when setting up your account.

Getting additional items (continue shopping):
If there is more shopping you want to do, click continue shopping. That will bring you back to the store pages where you can look around some more.

Finishing up (check out):
When you are ready to check out, click on the "check out" button. You should then fill out the fields for your name, address, etc. and then click the "submit" button. If you don't fill out the required fields (with a red star), you will receive an error message. Use your back button and return and fill out the required fields. If you are already a customer, you can log into your account which will then take you to the next step.

Shipping vs. Billing Address:
You will notice that the address you entered before is listed as both your shipping and billing address. If you would like the items shipped to a different address, you can change that information here by clicking in the fields and typing over what's there. If you want some items shipped to one address and some to another, you may either place two separate orders or put your special instructions in the field provided.

Shipping Method:
This is the last chance to choose your shipping method. Please make your selection and click on "continue checkout" to go to the next step.

Checkout Process - Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information

 

Terms and Conditions:
Before you can checkout, you need to agree to our terms and conditions by clicking in the checkbox.

Discsount Coupon:
From time to time we send registered site users special discount coupons. If you have been favoured with one of these you can enter the discount code (Redemption Code) in the box provided.

Payment Method:
Here you can make your selection for the preferred payment method.
  • Direct Bank Deposit: If you are into "online banking" we suggest you choose the "Direct Bank Deposit" method.
  • PayPal (Credit Card): If you want to pay by credit card, we suggest to use PayPal (click here to find out more).
  • Cheque: If you would like to send us a cheque, use this method.
  • Cash/Cheque on pickup: If you want to pay for your goods when you pick them up at our place, choose this method.
Special Instructions or Order Comments:
Enter these into the box below and click "continue checkout" to go to the next step. 
 

Checkout Process - Step 3 of 3 - Order Confirmation

Please review all your details and click "confirm order" to finish the process. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. You can review your previous orders by logging into your account. Once an order has been made, it can't be altered or canceled.

 

General questions

Is this Secure?
The area where you enter your credit card information is on a secure, encrypted server. We never get to see your credit card details or bank account numbers. This is the highest level of internet security. The rest of the site is not on the secure server however, as there is no reason for it to be. Only the section where your credit card information is transferred is secure. When you leave this area, your web browser may give you a warning message saying that you are no longer on a secure server. This is a generic message and it is nothing to worry about.

Pricing
All our prices are in NZ$. If you are a New Zealand customer, the prices include 12.5% GST and you will see the GST amount at the checkout process. If you are an Australian customer, the prices shown are without GST. For this to be displayed correctly, you need to be logged into your account and have set up an Australian billing address.

Error Messages

 

Your Shopping Cart is Empty:
If you click Change Quantity with no number in the quantity field on the subtotal page, you will get this error. Be sure you enter a quantity. If you want to remove the item from your order, put a zero in the field.

Missing Information:
You haven't filled out the entire address section of the order page. Please go back and make sure every field with a checkmark next to it has something in it.

Shipping Unavailable:
Shipping by certain methods to certain places may not be available. Please go back and either change the shipping method or the shipping address.

Credit Card Error:
While processing your card there was an error. The specific error will be listed. If it says Invalid Card Number, go back and double check that you entered it correctly.
